The idea of the Bachtrack Young Reviewer programme is to give young people aged between 12 and 16 years old the chance to attend a classical concert or opera, free of charge, and to write a review to be published on www.bachtrack.com. In this way, we hope to encourage more young people to go to classical music, and to provide a voice where the people who put on concerts can understand what appeals to a younger audience.

To be accepted for the programme, we need to find out approximately what constraints there are on the dates and times when they can attend a concert.

When we have done so for an applicant in your area, we will contact you to identify one or more concerts which might be suitable for them (if possible, we hope to give each applicant a choice of three concerts to attend). For each of these, you need to allocate us a pair of tickets: one for the young person who will write the review, and one for an accompanying adult (most probably a parent or music teacher).

Next, we contact the accompanying adult to determine which concert the young person will attend, and confirm it to you.

You now have to ensure that the box office has reserved the two seats for that event, and to give us confirmation in writing (email is fine) that this is the case.

Finally (assuming that we get a review of appropriate quality!) we will notify you when the review has been written and published.
