Inputting listings
Once you have "contributor" status, you can click on the "Input" tab at the top of the page on the left. This will show you a control panel with all of the upcoming events you have listed. Below this you will see details of your account.
The orange buttons in the control panel are where to click to input new listings. To input free event listings, mouse over "Input new..." to the right of "My opera/concert/ballet events" and select the correct option.
The following options are free:
- Main live event finder listings (opera, ballet, concerts)
- Kids events, talks and lectures
You may not include booking details of any sort in the listing: this includes links, phone number of box office, e-mail address, postal address or any other information about how to book. If you wish to help visitors to book your events, we encourage you to open an account with us and add a "Buy tickets" button and an image to your events, which is a paid-for option (contact us for more information).
Listings for the main event finder
The site is for Western classical music, opera and dance only: you must not input details of other events such as jazz, popular or world music. If you are in any doubt as to whether an event constitutes classical music (which can happen in the case of "crossover" events or film music), we ask you to contact us before inputting the listing and we will make a ruling as to whether it is appropriate for the site.
People find listings on our site by a wide variety of criteria: they may be looking for a particular composer or work, a particular performer, a style of music, or events at a particular time or place. It's therefore important that you include as full and accurate information as you can, which particularly means filling in details of the programme and performers in the correct place on the input forms. If you do this, you will find that your listing is seen by many people who may not have been aware of your particular events but were looking for one of those constituents.

If you know about other events that you think are missing from our listings and really should be in, please tell the organisers about us and recommend that they put them in! Alternatively, let us know and if we agree that these are important events, we'll try to contact them.
