Since the summer, Bachtrack has had a substantial number of concert listings in the US, including the major orchestras and opera houses. With this week's release of the site, you'll notice a country flag in the top right hand corner, together with a "Change" link that lets you switch between UK and US content. This is in line with our intentions to be a truly multi-national site.
With the new release, two main things are different for US users. Firstly, any links to Amazon show up as Amazon.com for the US site, and Amazon.co.uk for the UK site. This means that US users who look for CDs can go directly to the correct site from which they can be purchased. Secondly, the US has its own set of kids events pages, arranged by state and with the first few events already in place.
As time goes on, we're going to be improving the US offering: we're working hard to get more people in the US to hear about the site and to input events. We will also be adding more US affiliates for downloads and CD sales, and we hope to add a US directory and news material in due course.
