  • Britain has talent after all
    BBC Young Musician Final
In a weekend where a dog won a national talent competition, these young musicians showed that Britain really has got plenty of talent. Gerhaher and Schiff in PA
In a warhorse-heavy program of Beethoven, Schumann, and Haydn, Christian Gerhaher and András Schiff were an exceptionally subtle and accomplished team. Gerhaher is that rarest of birds, a Lieder specialist, and he is an ideal partner for Schiff.
