Aimed at 7–11 year olds, this unique and high energy group from Holland strips music down to its bare bones. With the help of some home-made single ‘slide saxophones’, explore how sound is made, how instruments are put together and how pitch is changed. Also hear an extract from ‘The Music Factory’, a mimed musical play for children.
Ensemble 360
This year Ensemble 360's concert is aimed at 2–7 year olds and another sell–out is expected. Composer Paul Rissmann has written an imaginative and inspirational piece based on the children's book The Chimpanzees of Happytown by Giles Andreae, illustrated by Guy Parker–Rees and published by Orchard Books.
The Chimpanzees of Happytown is funded by the Grants for the Arts.
