The London Symphony Orchestra is resident at London's Barbican. Tickets for all LSO Barbican concerts are only £4 for under-16s (max 2 per adult ticket-holder).

Family tickets are available for £16.50 for 2 adults and 1 - 4 children, and £11 for 1 adult and 1 - 2 children.

The scheme is open to parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. The ticket price includes specially written programme notes for children and a free Orchestra T-shirt when they have been to 6 concerts!

This scheme relates to concerts held at St David's Hall, Brangwyn Hall, Swansea and the new BBC Hoddinott Hall.

Children must be aged 16 years and under.

Ulster Orchestra offers very cheap tickets to children For just £10 a year you can become a "Young Friend" and get Ulster Orchestra tickets for just £3 each, while parents of "Young Friends" get a 25% discount on their full price tickets. Disabled and disadvantaged groups can obtain up to 10 FREE tickets for a number of specified concerts, but must register in advance by contacting the Ulster Orchestra's education department

Under 16s go free to ALL RSNO concerts if accompanied by a paying adult - maximum 2 free tickets per paying adult (excluding special concerts.)

Family tickets are available at all CBSO promoted concerts taking place in Birmingham Symphony Hall. One or more adults must be accompanied by their children under the age of 16, with a maximum group size of 6 people. Family tickets are available in all areas, and will be allocated subject to availability. Price of family ticket: per adult £17, per child £8.50.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra offer 50% off all ticket prices for full-time students and under-16s (maximum 4 per transaction. Not applicable to Family Concerts). Limited availability; appropriate cards will be checked on admission. Call 020 7840 4242 or 0871 663 2530 for further details.

The Philharmonia Orchestra offer children half price tickets to ALL their concerts, with a maximum number of 2 children per adult if you book direct through their site.

The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra allow children to pay £1 for entry to nearly all their concerts - except Christmas and Summer concerts at any of the following venues by calling their box offices: Lighthouse in Poole,(0870 0668701), Pavilion in Bournemouth (0870 1113000), Guildhall in Portsmouth (023 92894355), Guildhall in Southampton (023 80632601), Pavilion in Weymouth (01305 783225). Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult, but those under 18 and over 13 can be unaccompanied and buy tickets for just £1.
