Being a mountain goat is no fun when you are scared of heights! Stand poor Giddy on a mountain ledge and his head starts spinning and his knees turn to jelly. Will Giddy find the fearless goat inside himself?
Giddy Goat has been specially commissioned for Ensemble 360 and Polly Ives (narrator) from the story written by Jammie Rix and Lynne Chapman, and put to music by Scottish composer Paul Rissmann. This zany, action-packed musical story of facing fears, a musical mutton, a clambering clarinet and a baa-ing bassoon.
This children's concert is an exciting introduction to music for children aged 2-7 years and lasts about 45 minutes including a chance to meet the musicians, hear the instruments up close, purchase signed copies of the book and join in a range of colouring and creative activities.
Giddy will trot around the country on it's national tour, visiting:
Oakham School Chapel on Tuesday 11th November at 1:30pm
Wiltshire Music Centre on Saturday 15th November at 2pm
The Octagon, Sheffield on Sunday 7th December at 3pm
The Stables, Milton Keynes on Tuesday 10th February at 1:30pm
Bridge House Theatre, Warwick on Sunday 15th February at 11:30am
