With ‘Götterdämmerung’, the Ring reaches new levels of intimacy and spectacle. On top of Wagner’s surging orchestral ocean, the stolen ring is fought over with even greater guile and fiercer anger, testing the hero Siegfried’s qualities of love and valour.
