45 minutes before each performance (except premieres), there is an introduction in the opera house. It is prepared and moderated by students of the institute of dance studies (Institut für Tanzwissenschaft) of Freie Universität Berlin. June performances will use recorded music.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Festival committee reserves the right to change artistes/programmes without prior notice. We regret that the cost of tickets purchased cannot be refunded, unless the event is cancelled. Performances start at 7.30pm Doors open 45 minutes before each performance. With the exception of reservations for special guests, seats are unreserved and some may have a restricted view. For your additional comfort, you may wish to bring along a cushion for the performance.
