Josep Pons conducts this world premiere alongside the 1947 version of Stravinsky’s Petrushka, the a cappella motets Ave Maria and Pater noster, and the four-minute novelty Scherzo à la russe, written in Hollywood for the bandleader Paul Whiteman.
