Together with his ensemble Ars Antiqua Austria the violinist Gunar Letzbor is one of the main champions of Austrian Baroque repertoire, which has so far remained largely unexplored. Besides his orchestra of strings and winds he also brings the St Florian children’s choir – in which the young Bruckner used to sing – to Utrecht for the Festival’s opening concert. During the other half of the concert you will be treated to a concert of intimate chamber music, given by Festival musicians at a unique location you would be unlikely to visit otherwise. What’s on the programme? A surprise awaits you! Programme to include: | ||
