Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ: Main Hall, Amsterdam, Piet Heinkade 1, Amsterdam 1019 BR, Netherlands Thursday 7-Nov-13 08:15pm Remix Ensemble Casa da Musica Het bruisende Remix Ensemble is het moderne muziekgezelschap van concertzaal Casa da Música in Porto, ontworpen door Rem Koolhaas. Het ensemble brengt werk van vier componisten die met elkaar verbonden zijn door hun aandacht voor pure klank, elektronische muziek en virtuositeit. Drie prikkelende composities die hun bestaansrecht inmiddels bewezen en een nieuw werk van de Portugese ‘ruisspecialist’ Luís Antunes Pena. Salvatore Sciarrino is de peetvader van de Italiaanse ruis te noemen. Met werk waarin vreemde speeltechnieken en zachte ruisgeluiden aan de orde van de dag zijn, ontvouwde hij een heel nieuw universum. Franco Donatoni geldt op zijn beurt als de peetvader van de moderne Italiaanse ensemblevirtuositeit.
