| Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, Brussels, Rue de la Régence 30, 1000 Brussels, Belgium Tuesday 22-Mar-11 08:00pm Viviane Hagner - Daniel Müller-Schott - Jonathan Gilad As in the concerts of 24 and 29 January, we here present a trio of young soloists with a passion for chamber music. The trio for violin, cello, and piano, originated by Haydn and Mozart, came into its own with Beethoven and continued to inspire the Romantics. Beethoven's First Trio (the composer's Opus 1, written when he was 23 years of age) was an immediate success, as was the First Trio by Brahms (aged 20 when he composed it). Maurice Ravel's Trio, however, one of his most accomplished compositions, is a work of its composer's maturity. | ||
