| Sadler's Wells: Lilian Baylis Studio, London, Rosebery Avenue, London EC1R 4TN, United Kingdom Tuesday 21-May-13 08:00pm Daniel Linehan — Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost New York-born Daniel Linehan has developed a successful career as a performer and choreographer since graduating from the world-renowned PARTS dance school in Brussels in 2010. After performing Zombie Aporia at the Lilian Baylis Studio in 2012, he returns this spring with his latest work, Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost, co-commissioned by Sadler’s Wells.Combining video and live dance, Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost looks at the relationship between the human body and technology, the real and the virtual. Through pre-recorded video footage, the audience is given imaginative access to the visual perspectives of three dancers, as they perform live on stage in unison with their past. Daniel Linehan has been greeted with critical praise both in America and Europe since he presented his first work in 2004. He is currently a Sadler’s Wells New Wave Associate, Associate Artist at deSingel, Antwerp, and Artist in Residence at L’Opéra de Lille. | ||
