The world's best way to find live classical music
Advertising with Bachtrack
You can add or contribute basic listings to our site free of charge, and we encourage everyone who puts on classical music, opera or ballet events to do this. In addition to this free service, we provide several paid-for advertising options which will give you more visibility. To add event listings and/or to buy advertising, we need to give you permission: we call this "making you a contributor" and it may take us up to 48 hours.
Click here to register. Please be sure to tick the "I want to contribute listings" box. If you have already tried to register but have not received the activation e-mail, please check your junk e-mail or spam folders. If you are sure that you cannot find the e-mail, please contact us giving the username you tried to register and a phone number where we can contact you.
Becoming a contributor
To apply for "contributor" status, please register. Tick the check box on the registration form to say that you want to contribute listings, and fill in the box below titled "If so, for whom do you wish to input events" to tell us what are the events you wish to contribute (e.g. for a particular artist, venue, festival, music society, etc) and in what capacity (e.g. whether you're the promoter, an artist, an agent, simply an enthusiast, or any other reason). Alternatively, if you're already registered, you can fill in this form to let us know that you wish to be a contributor. We will check that there's no problem with this (such as a clash with someone else who is already inputting the same events), and if all is well, we will grant you contributor status and e-mail you to let you know.
Once you have become a contributor, you have several options. Here is a brief summary of each: please click on the links provided for more details about each of them.
Contributing free listings Click here for details
Input of basic listings of concerts, opera, ballet, festivals, kids/teen events, talks and lectures is free of charge: a "basic" listing means that you give full details of your event programme except for contact or booking details such as telephone numbers or website addresses.
Opening and using a commercial account Click here for details
To use one of the paid-for advertising options, you must open an account with us by going to the Input tab near the top right hand side of the page and clicking on "Create an account" to bring up the account opening form. Advertising is placed using this account, and you also get access to statistics about your advertising with us.
Event input done by Bachtrack Click here for details
If you don't want to input your own events, you can ask us to do it for you, for a small administration fee.
Pay-per-click advertising via "Buy tickets" buttons Click here for details
We offer you the opportunity to put a red "Buy Tickets" button on any of your events. When the visitor clicks on the button, he is taken to a URL of your choice: this is usually a ticket sale page on your website, but we can provide a page with your contact details if you don't have a suitable page to send them to. This is charged on a pay-per-click basis, and is an extremely cost-effective way of selling more tickets by giving interested visitors an immediate opportunity to buy tickets for you revents. If you have an e-ticketing system which supports revenue sharing with affiliate referrers, we are also able to operate on this basis.
"Concert Banner" advertising Click here for details
Our main concert/opera/ballet finder pages feature a scrolling banner which displays ads for forthcoming events. You can place ads in a simple text style, or upload graphical artwork for a "display ad". Ads on the concert banner are priced by the week: they give excellent visibility to gain immediate sales of an event happening soon.
Pay-per-impression advertising Click here for details
A number of 200 x 200 pixel advertising slots are visible on the right hand side of the page, as well as a 728 x 90 pixel leaderboard at the top of the page. These are charged on a "pay-per-impression" basis, and are suitable for general awareness advertisements where your intended audience is not necessarily looking for a particular type of event.
Please ensure that you have read and understood our commercial terms and conditions. You may also look at our price list. You must be a registered user to read these (registration is free).
