| Montreal Chamber Music Festival at St George's Church, Montreal, QC, 1101 Rue Stanley, Montreal H3B 2S2, Canada Friday 24-May-13 08:00pm Eldar Djangirov... Three Stories This third concert in our TD Jazz series features the outstanding New York based pianist Eldar Djangirov. Eldar came to the Festival last year for his first ever concert in Montreal and blew us all away with his amazing dexterity and sophisticated musical choices. He’s back and this time in a solo performance that we know will sell out. Based on his recent CD titled Three Stories, Eldar will offer us standards, original works and classical selections ranging from Bach to Gershwin to Corea to Prokofiev to Radiohead. He’s been described as the next Oscar Peterson and Dave Brubeck called him a genius beyond question.
