De jonge Engelse dirigent Joolz Gale reist de hele wereld rond en dirigeert Mahlers muziek in kleine bezettingen. Het Concertgebouworkest staat bekend om zijn Mahler-traditie. Het kamermuziekensemble Camerata RCO - met leden van het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest - pakt nu de handschoen op.
