About Manchester Camerata

Manchester Camerata is one of the UK’s leading chamber orchestras. As orchestra in residence at The Bridgewater Hall and the Royal Northern College of Music, Camerata performs an annual series at both venues, as well as bringing live music to communities across the Northwest.

Camerata’s commitment to creative learning inspires an award winning programme of learning and participation. Camerata’s work both on and off stage is motivated by the pursuit of artistic excellence, with ideas from both strands intertwining to inform and influence an approach which is characterised by intimacy, immediacy and passion.

Camerata’s artistic team comprises Music Director Douglas Boyd, Permanent Guest Conductor Nicholas Kraemer and Principal Guest Director Gordan Nikolitch.
